Oh, my, I just Loved this session! The blooming orchard, a soft, muted colour palette, and candid, in-the-moment, family portraits. Beautiful, real images that capture this stage of life; walking together, little hands grabbing for the other (or trying to get away!), and giving snuggles, cuddles, and kisses!

As moms, I think we often get stuck waiting for the perfect moment for family pictures: once the family is complete if we’re planning on more kids, until we lose that extra baby weight, or just because life gets busy and we don’t get around to scheduling a session. Years into the future, our kids aren’t going to care if we’re five or ten pounds heavier than we wanted to be or if their little sister or brother is around yet 😉 – they’re going to love seeing us in that picture with them. They’re going to love seeing how their mama looked at them, or how their daddy walked at their pace, holding their hands. How their mama looked when she laughed, and how their dad looked at her. (I really love that image!)
